A New Gallery, A New Exhibition
The Herschel Museum of Astronomy launches a new privately funded gallery with a new Heritage Lottery Funded temporary exhibition.
The Caroline Lucretia Gallery has been named to honour Caroline Herschel who played a vital role in the household at New King Street, was a first class astronomer in her own right and was renowned for her work on comets. The gallery will be officially opened in September, by the Astronomer Royal, Martin Rees, Baron Rees of Ludlow.
