Serendipity is a comfortable bungalow with a beautiful secluded garden in which wild badgers can be seen nightly.

We are situated in the ancient village of Winsley on the B3108, 4 miles south east of Bath and two miles west of Bradford on Avon - a beautiful Saxon town (the most southerly of the Cotswolds).

Winsley village is situated on top of a hill overlooking the Lympley Stoke Valley with the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal running through.

It is 20 minutes walk to Avoncliffe. The village has been recently by-passed and is now peaceful since the bulk of the traffic has been diverted. We are in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, ideal for walking or cycling. Canal boats and bicycles can be hired locally.

Road Directions

From M4 take A46 towards Bath, then take the A4 towards the city centre. Once on the A4 turn left (direction A36) at the 2nd major set of traffic lights. Go over the bridge and past the traffic lights. At the end of the road turn left onto A36 Bath to Warminster road. After approx 4 miles tuen left at traffic lights onto B3108 Winsley to Bradford-on-Avon. Follow B3108 up hill, turn right into village; we are on the way out of the village on the right-hand side.

Cross road from railway station to bus station number XS or X6 bus comes to Winsley.
