The young Montenegrin classical guitarist, Miloš Karadaglić, is causing a sensation within the music industry. He has played to sold out audiences at both the Wigmore Hall and the Lucerne Festival, which led to a signing with prestigious classical record label Deutsche Grammophon. His first album with them reached No.1 in the Classical Album Charts.
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Milos has won many prizes including the Julian Bream prize in 2005, and was the first guitarist to ever win the Princes’ Prize, a music prize of HRH Prince Charles. He also performed the first ever classical concert at an iTunes Festival, in 2010. In October 2011 he won two Gramophone Awards: Young Artist of the Year & Specialist Classical Chart Award .
His Bath Abbey concert will include works by Albéniz, Villa-Lobos and J.S.Bach.
